- Even though the Career Fair is virtual, be sure to dress in business attire. Recruiters may invite you to a video call, so you want to be sure you’re ready to make a great impression!
- Practice your personal pitch and be ready to introduce yourself.
- Have your pitch ready in written format so you can easily introduce yourself to recruiters in chats.
- Prepare to meet employers with your story, why you want to work for that company, and questions about the company and role.
- Do allow the employers to initiate the 1:1 video call with you and keep an eye on your chat during the Career Fair for any 1-to-1 invitation initiated by the employers.
- Take a note of the person you are interacting with in the booth and you can connect with them after the Career Fair on LinkedIn to take the conversation further.
